Wynd House is the only accommodation in Elie and the East Neuk offering the wellness facilities of a sea garden with direct access to sea swimming and a sauna!
Swimming from The Sea Garden
The Sea Garden in front of the house is a great place to watch the activities in the bay, and the beach can be accessed directly by a ladder and some steps down. The tide comes right up to the sea garden wall, so guests can swim directly from the garden.
The Sauna
This is Elie’s original sauna, covered from a sea garden hut in 2020. It is built of Aspen and is fired by a wood-fired stove. The huge picture windows mean you can sauna and see the view at the same time.
The Sauna can be booked by the hour for private hire while you stay at Wynd House.
The sauna was designed and built by Jamie Maclean of the @themacleanbrothers, who together with his two brothers Lachlan and Ewan, broke three world records rowing across the Atlantic and are now attempting to row across the Pacific, 9,000 miles, unsupported to raise £1m for clean water projects.
